Thanks, I'd like to include the info you provided above in the docs.
Re: the term synchronized above, I understand from your code review (thanks for
the corrections) that the term does _not_ mean that HMS-Kudu integration has
been enabled, which I think means metadata changes to Kudu tables are
synchronized with the HMS? We're using synchronized in the broad sense, right?
Should we say HMS-Kudu integration does not need to be enabled for external
table synchronization?
