[~clebertsuconic] the conversion to core on expiry is unexpected for me. why
should a message be converted to core when it expires? the update of the TTL is
an obvious consequence of expiry. as is the addition of a few header entries.
but for me the conversion is not. I could not find any documentation on this in
either

or
