1) there are multiple ways; I don't it matters which one is choosen...
* add a variable; and make simplifyStrong() the last call
* or add a new method which will run the sequential; node level simplification
- the strategy pattern and the strong...
* and there might be other ways...
2) yes that wouldn't be covered by my proposal; probably only LTRIM(x) would be
covered...
