Thanks for taking the time to confirm the behavior [~cfitzwater].
With regards to your proposed feature request, I am not sure.
Camel can already resolve environment variables across all runtimes but
requires a slightly different syntax, \{{env:HOST}} instead of ${HOST}.
But I also see the point that if the Spring Boot and Quarkus runtime support
this, perhaps Camel Main could as well.
Perhaps [~davsclaus] has an opinion?
