This is a new feature, so we can add it for 3.16.x and eventually backport to 
3.14.x which is an LTS and maybe 3.11.x.

"I absolutely need this functionality" is not the correct way to ask for a 
feature. You can open a PR, ask for help, write your own component with what 
you need, but phrasing request in this way won't help and won't make the 
development faster for sure.

This is an open source project.
