Andrea Cosentino commented on CAMEL-17713:
------------------------------------------
I don't think adding a way to add a custom metadata will be invasive of the
main features of the component. We are going to release 3.11.6 soon, so you can
have a look at adding this stuff to main branch and then we could take care of
backporting to 3.14.x and 3.11.x.
The usual workflow is working on main branch and then the committers will take
care of backporting, but if you have time, you may also open 3 different PRs,
one for main, one for 3.14.x and one for 3.11.x. Thanks

> The documentation for aws2-s3 says that the component supports S3 custom
> metadata headers. After looking at the code it isn't implemented there.
> The integration I'm implementing hinges on using the custom-metadata in aws
> s3. I think this is something others could benefit from as well.
> We are currently on 3.11.3 so I used that for the ticket but this does affect
> all 3.11.X versions.
> I know this is a feature that was available with the SDK v1 version.
