Rubylips, thanks for the review. I've created issue Math-247 to implement a
utility function with this feature, which I'll look into using in this code.
Luc, thanks for getting the discussion going. I realized while reading your
message that I should be using RealVector instead of reinventing it. I'll take
a look at doing so and post a new version.
