Rebased on `master`. The breakage was the new test rather than the rebase: on Java 8 `SimpleDateFormat` has no standalone-month rule, so the differential against it diverges for `ru MMM` and friends (`февр.` vs the full name), and the runtime change is already guarded to Java 9+. I've added `assumeTrue(SystemUtils.isJavaVersionAtLeast(JavaVersion.JAVA_9))` to the test so Java 8 skips it, matching the guard.
