Addressed both of Copilot's points: the `CalendarUtils.getInstance(locale)` lookup is hoisted into a single local in `parsePattern`, and the test reads the parsed month in GMT via `DateUtils.toCalendar(parsedDate, TimeZones.GMT)` instead of the default zone. `FastDatePrinterTest`, `FastDateFormatTest` and `FastDateParserTest` pass locally on JDK 17. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
