@Gary - looks like the code is not picking up the resources. What command are
you using to run the tests?

- @author tags are discouraged in code. Author credit is normally given in the
pom and/or changes file.
- the resource files ought to have AL headers.
- it would help to have some documentation for the resource files (and indeed
Javadoc)
