The daemon release 1.0.3 is broken; it was almost certainly released by copying
to a local repo for later sync.
Components using groupId o.a.commons are released using Nexus.
Some components using groupId commons-xxxx also use Nexus.
The others probably use manual copies.

Changing groupId without changing package name will cause lots of problems for
downstream users, so is best left until necessary - e.g. unavoidable binary
incompatibility.
