Yes.
This component is a dependency for [Commons
Geometry|http://commons.apache.org/geometry] (not released yet, but actively
worked on) and [Commons Math|http://commons.apache.org/math] (a legacy project,
but the upcoming new major version contains many bug fixes and enhancements).
Help welcome in order to come closer to a first official release.
