I think the current PR that was recently accepted has a use case it doesn't
manage whereby content is pushed down again when switching between Ionic Tabs -
ie content is rendered, and then janks as it is pushed down. This has only
occurred since switching to this git release of the status bar. Was working
fine before iOS11, updated statusbar for the iOS11 whitespace problem and
result is janking down of content in certain situations (note I'm changing
status bar styles on certain page changes). I believe calling
statusbar.styleXXXXX() is producing a view change which the code doesn't handle
correctly.
