This is too generic a request, it's like asking us to make CXF better. We need
to know which ones present in 1.2 but not 1.1 you want added--something
specific that can be proven done and then closed. If you haven't the time to
do this research, perhaps best to hold off on the bug report until you do.
The Basic Profiles are suggestions only, and in the solid majority of cases
(including, mostly likely, all that we cover) they are backwards compatible, so
adding a switch would not provide much if any benefit. I could potentially see
a note in the report saying that one rule or another is new in 1.2, however,
for the user of the WSDL validator to accept or ignore as he/she personally
wishes.
