A complete set of checks is probably unattainable, there's just too many of
them, and not all lend itself to easy checking, so we have to pick-and-choose
relying on the 80/20 rule. Pushing beyond 80/20 in favor of a mathematically
complete validator would very quickly fail cost/benefit analysis compared to
the other things we could do with the time.
Note an exhaustive WS-I Basic Profile validator would not be CXF specific but
something that could be used by any web service stack, CXF, Metro, or .Net
whatever. Therefore it is outside the scope of any one specific web service
stack to provide, as it would probably slip behind the other stacks in the
process. This is a utility the WS-I BP people should be developing (and
actually, might already have, check here:
http://www.ws-i.org/deliverables/workinggroup.aspx?wg=testingtools) I think
your request here needs to move more properly to the WS-I folks.
