To correct myself:
Basic256Sha256 DOES influence the DigestMethods of the references in the
SUPPORTING signatures, even when the
ws-security.(a)symmetric.signature.algorithm properties are not set.
However:
1. The the SignatureMethods are only set correctly to HMAC/RSA-SHA256 with
these two properties set.
2. Basic256Sha256 has no influence of the DigestMethod of the references in the
PRIMARY signature.
