Bharath Gowda commented on FINERACT-1948:
-----------------------------------------

Hi [~francisguchie]

my two cents

Even if you enable standing instruction technically what it means is
withdrawing from savings account and making repayment on to the loan account.

So I do not see any logical change in the transaction behavior to introduce it
as a new transaction type.

Besides when you click on the withdrawal, it contains all the detail of the
linked loan and repayment it made to.

>From my side I do not see this change add major value to the feature.

> Loan repayment by account transfer transaction type should not be withdrawal

> When a user transfers money from a savings account to pay off a loan, the
> transaction type is tagged as a withdrawal yet this is a loan repayment. The
> transaction type should be adjusted to suit the transaction as it gets handy
> for repayments with standing instructions.
