So that would be device-width/device-hight? and most likely min-device-height
and min-device-width as suggested.
IMO I would really avoid using physical dimension like inches or cm to do this.
Think of TVs or even desktops with low dpi screens. In the sample above
anything with a largish screen including desktop and TVs would be considered a
tablet. The TV screen however would have less resolution than either the tablet
or phone.
