I checked the code and could not reproduce the issue.
The interface of the
{{DefinedRowtimeAttributes.getRowtimeAttributeDescriptors()}} requires to
return a {{List}} of descriptors.
The Kafka table sources are implemented in a way that the builder will set an
empty {{List}} if no rowtime attribute is configured.
[~yuemeng] can you set the Flink version and full program to reproduce the
issue?
