Hi [~zenfenan] and [~gaoyunhaii] and thanks for looking into this and sorry for
being absent from the discussion all this time. Should I assign the issue to
[~zenfenan] or to [~gaoyunhaii]?
Also, I think it is worth spending some time discussing the design of the
writer. This will be helpful for whoever is the reviewer of the PRs, but also
for whoever implements it, as he will avoid doing duplicate work, in case a
design is rejected.
