@weiqingy are you planning to submit a PR for this? If not, I can take it.
I checked the Python side too. Neither the Azure nor the Anthropic
connection looks at map fields in `supports_native_structured_output`.
Anthropic renders the schema with the SDK's `transform_schema`, which turns a
`dict[str, int]` field into an object with `properties: {}` and
`additionalProperties: false`, so Python Anthropic drops the map silently, like
the Java connections. Azure uses `to_strict_json_schema` like OpenAI, so it
keeps `"additionalProperties": {"type": "integer"}`.
