All distributions have both and are keeping both if there is some software
still using 1.x, otherwise everybody wants to move on.
If just this was the issue I would say move to 2.x, this ticket has been opened
for 2.5 years and that's also (I think, not sure) 5 years since people started
asking for FreeRDP 2.x support.
But in general, what is the issue of requiring a minimum version of FreeRDP
like any other library where you have a requirement?
