Wilhelm MOSER commented on GUACAMOLE-249:
-----------------------------------------
Sorry Michael but for me it is really hard to understand the problems with rdp
as RDP is the protocol you want - due to the caching abilities.
OK connection is usually local protocol to local guacd - apache2 BUT ..
"guacd is the heart of Guacamole which dynamically loads support for remote
desktop protocols (called "client plugins") and connects them to remote
desktops based on instructions received from the web application."
So why the urge for freerdp which is considered heavily upgraded but not really
maintned and maybe freezed with 2.x.x?
I can not find any "plugins". Why?
I would expect guacd to bind on an desigated RDP port on localhost without any
RDP(freerdp Server?[which is it not natively]) requirements.
