You might want to check available fonts on your system (the one running guacd).
I'm running version 1.3.0, and underscores show up fine in SSH. I'm not
entirely sure why that would change between 1.2.0 and 1.3.0, but I can confirm
the underscore works fine in 1.3.0.
Target system browser is Chrome, both the Guacamole server and the target SSH
server are running CentOS 7.
