The question should be rephrased as
Should the eventual boundary split be '',a,m,r,u,'' or '',m,r,u,'' ?
The current code will produce a key split of '',a,m,r,u,''.
I was assuming you wanted a test code just for you guys to test if it works as
intended: Do you want this test code also in the HBase source considering it is
a test extremely local to a particular function?
