(Things with filters are subtle especially when combining them FilterList)
That said, things have changed considerably in the past two years, so we can
try again. I agree this not obvious.
At *least* we can add to PrefixFilter's Javadoc that the corresponding Scan's
startRow needs to be set to the prefix or performance will be bad.
