I'm all for a simpler syntax than docbook. I've done some blogging with
markdown and I like it well enough, my only complaint is it doesn't handle
inline content very nicely (images). Does asciidoc fix this kind of thing? It's
good that it has growing support, though if I look at readthedocs.org getting
started section, they say markdown or reStructuredText.
Kudos [~misty] for tackling this and extra bonus points if it actually takes
*less* time to render the docs that then java source.
