Yeah very brittle. Honestly the whole thing is pretty awful. I'm not sure that
master should have the read/write pools at all. And I think that we should
completely do away with server side priority infavor of the client setting
priority. However doing that would break compatibility. So we'll need to do
that in a different jira and let it bake until 2.0
bq.You are running zk-less on 1.2 branch but meta is not colocated?
Correct.
