bq. was this asf-site in the main git repo for the project, or in the
hbase-site repo? If you pushed it in the hbase-site repo, then that was the
correct thing to do.
This is not specified in the documentation we have available.
There was and is an 'asf-site' branch in our main repo, so that appears to be
an equally valid alternative unless pointed in the right direction.
