Agreed.
My point is that the client will confuse about why the deprecated
{{getTypeByte}} doesn't have the alternative method. If we remove the
{{getTypeByte}} from {{Cell}}, converting the {{Cell}} in
{{Put}}/{{Append}}/{{Increment}} to proto is not problem as the type is always
{{PUT}}. ditto for the {{Cell}} in {{Delete}}? No, we can't as there are many
delete types. We don't worry about that in 2.0, but it will trouble us to
cleanup the {{Cell}} in 3.0
