Just seeing the comments.
IMHO
In Cell.java
Deprecate @getTypeByte, getSequenceId, getTagsXXX().
and add
DataType getType();
In ExtendedCell
Add
getTagsXXX() APIs
Override DataType getType()
RawCell will have
getTypeByte() so that CPs and other internal code can make use of the min/max
type. (Because ExtendedCell are also RawCells).
and will add
{code}
List<Tag> getTags()
Optional<Tag> getTag(byte type)
{code}
