(new issue does fine-tuning!).
The change is small but more discussion may be required. If we reach the
consensus on that cp users should not add the custom cell, the change (wrap
put/delete) can be addressed in this issue.

yep. We can wrap the custom cell to be a ExtendedCell. Most methods in
ExtendedCell are default methods so wrapping the cell should be a small change
also. :)
