@Lars even with the HDFS patches, we should have a way to logically
group/backup/restore snapshots.
IMO hardlinks with HBase snapshots is the way to go, since we can do it with
zero downtime, whereas HDFS snapshots require some (though admittedly small)
downtime. HBSE-5547 is basically just a hack around hardlinks.
