[~sunnygao] In the "stop the world" impementation, flushing the HFile is going
to take too long. However, in the timestamp based approach time doesn't play as
big a role (oh the irony!), so we can actually flush the HFiles and do what you
are talking about. I'm most of the way through a writeup for how this would
work, but have been a bit busy the last few days to post it - planning to have
it up tomorrow in a sub-ticket (as Jon suggests).
