We can do a follow up. There should not be double synchronization.
bq. Currently, yeah, there is an assumption that the replication is 3. If the
replication is 2 or 4, things should work
As long as things do not fail out of box, this should be fine for the first
cut. I was wondering if there are core assumptions in the code, which might
fail in case of different default replication.
