@huaxingao thanks for bringing up the Spark 3.4 discussion in the mailing list. At this point, we could still move ahead with this PR as it is and if 3.4 is dropped, then the additional code here will also get dropped. Otherwise if 3.4 is dropped before we merge this then I will have to rebase and will drop 3.4 from here as well. (In that case Comet will have to provide instructions on manually patching and building Iceberg).
