@rdblue: Quick question: You simply just did not have time to review this last iteration, or you do not agree with my future plans with uncoupling Iceberg and Hive schema, and would like us to stick to throwing exception when Hive schema is provided and we already have an Iceberg schema too? If it is just timing issue do you have any idea who would be also interested in Hive integration who is already a committer? Maybe @aokolnychyi?
