Rafael Felix Correa commented on KYLIN-4881:
--------------------------------------------

Hi [~fishcus], thanks for looking into this.

I've pasted a few screenshots, to hopefully make it easier to understand. About
the cube owner not being part of the ACL management system, that sounds a bit
weird. But that's not the actual issue.

In this example, my user ([email protected]) is both the cube owner and
project admin (check screenshot), which grants my user ADMIN (not MANAGEMENT,
again the screenshots show it) access to the cube, according to the acl
management system.

However, I still cannot see the Planner tab in this particular cube. Once I
change my access level to kylin ADMIN instead of project ADMIN, it works (I can
see the Planner tab across all cubes, not just this project ones). Keep in mind
this is a setup with LDAP+SAML federation, so maybe that's one reason why you
couldn't reproduce it?

Cheers,

> Steps to reproduce:
> * On a LDAP+SAML configured kylin instance, create a cube in any project and
> grant either cube ownership or project admin privileges to a non-admin
> federated user;
> * Login in the web UI as the non-admin user; and
> * Navigate to the cube details page
> What's expected:
> * Cube Owners/Project Admins should see the Planner tab, and have access to
> the Cube Planner feature
> What happens instead:
> * Cube Owners/Project Admins can't see the Planner tab in the UI. triggering
> via API works and Kylin Admins can see it in the UI.
