Have not checked the use of "collection" and "slice" strings - if they are used
for actual logic and not only display purposes then of course it is not
possible to provide defaults. This might not be a good example since these
classes are somewhat internal but the bar should be fairly high to change
public Java APIs in minor releases overall.
