There is also the matter of how to allow a group of people to work on this in a
sane manner. That's something I have spent tons of time in the past working on
addressing via code and police tools and plans other things, but something I
have spent almost no time on this go round. Noble and Ishan have some good
thoughts on that topic, but it's a real issue.
I've basically stepped in as conductor and taken a waaaay out of tune and sync
and skill orchestra that was pumping out screeches and painful sounds and I've
put it into harmony. It's not about changing design (in most cases) or how
things work - it's about getting these terrible musicians to play together in a
very tight and delicate balance. I use that analogy because it's very accurate
and at some point you have this stage where you are going to invite in another
dozen or two conductors. So now, how do you keep this band playing good music?
I've worked on that problem a lot, but it's a project in itself, especially if
it falls on me to worry about. Noble and Ishan have kept me mildly optimistic
on the subject, but it's a real challenge, not me being anal or something.
