Both points are addressed in the latest commit. The IT now sends the output of Maven to a file and waits for the process first, so the 2-minute timeout applies and the process is destroyed if it does not end. It also asserts that the local repository exists at the path with the space, which Maven creates when `MAVEN_ARGS` is honoured, so an ignored `MAVEN_ARGS` cannot pass. I ran the logic of the test against a distribution with the previous `bin/mvn` (it fails) and with this PR's one (it passes). The conflict with master in `apache-maven/pom.xml` is resolved too, and both script executions are kept. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
