[~jieyu]: Thanks for the CC, I think what I was mentioning to you was more the
ability to observe the reservation state of a machine so that an operator would
have an idea of what they can do via {{master/reserve}} and/or
{{master/unreserve}}. The proposal here for the updates in metrics look good
and doesn't affect what I want to do with dynamic reservations (at least for
now).
