I have a note to possibly pause and prompt for confirmation on overwrite
with the option to pass a flag allowing *force yes* behavior. I am hesitant to
add "decryption" or "reversal" capability to the tool even requiring the
password/key as input.
Do you think what I suggested above would be sufficient? I am worried about
someone trying to fire the tool without interaction and not realizing it will
wait for confirmation, but I also accept that the tool is unlikely to be used
in an unsupervised environment.
