I have changed Issue Type to ENHANCEMENT. You might want to look at the attachment in issue #63179. The filter is not integrated and does not work for opening, because of problems in file detection. But a quick test shows, that export seems to work. To install the filter start a text document and use Tools > XML Filter Settings and than "Open Packages".
