Fairly frequently I get an error message when opening a document saying the
document is damaged.
This time I've had just about enough! I ususlly save my documents in versions
by adding a number to the name. This time I was not able to open the latest 3
versions of my document and had to go back 4 versions before being able to open
this older version.
Open Office always offer the possibility to recover a damaged document but even
though I have tried SEVERAL 100 times it NEVER has been able to recover just
one single document. Not one! What is the point in having a recover procedure
that never works.
I think something is going wrong in the saving of documents - once in a while.
But who cares - i'm dumping Open Office and I will find something else. Just
wasted 14 days of work...
