Yes. This is exactly what's happening to me also. I have the following set:
XMLSECURITY_TRACE=1

and MOZILLA_CERTIFICATE_FOLDER

With the XMLSECURITY_TRACE, it displays the correct location for my
certificates but I get the same message you are getting and thus no valid cert
with these changes. Also, it seems MOZ and AOO seem to demand cert8.db rather
than cert9.db. I have a mix of these on my setup. Using certutil, all certs are
found.

Thanks for this additional work. All I can say is, we must be missing some
important access code in AOO to comply with these changes even with the patch.
