### Purpose `SnapshotManager#snapshotExists` currently fails immediately when `FileIO#exists` throws an `IOException`. A transient file system failure can therefore interrupt callers such as lookup cache refresh. Retry the existence check up to three attempts with a one-second interval. Preserve the last `IOException` if all attempts fail, and restore the interrupt status if the retry wait is interrupted. ### Tests - Verify that the check succeeds after a transient `IOException`. - Verify that the last failure is reported after three attempts. ### API and Format No API or format changes. ### Documentation No documentation changes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
