@wgtmac Let me if you want me to implement your VerticalInputFile / HorizontalInputFile idea and what to do you see has left in this PR. Let me know what else I should do, I think I should add javadoc I can add more tests. I guess you are aware but just fyi ParquetRewriterTest already takes 3/4 of the total parquet-hadoop testing time, on my machine it is 16 min and 22 min correspondingly. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
