Doug Davies commented on SHINDIG-1700:
--------------------------------------
GadgetSite.getActiveSiteHolder.getIframeElement works if the gadget xml could
be loaded and the iframe created. However if there is an error loading the
gadget, I'd still like to be able to find the element.
> Add a getCurrentGadgetElement method to GadgetSite in the common container

> Currently there is no way to get the html element that a gadget site
> represents. It's useful to know this for applying styling to the site
> element or possible parent elements (chrome). Please provide a
> getCurrentGadgetElement method to GadgetSite to return the el_ private
> variable.
