@danielmeint @HoustonPutman WRT non-compliant image tags, like `latest`, `my-company-solr-9.11` etc, a wild idea could be to let the Operator discover the version by kicking a k8s `Job` that does nothing more than print the version. Then it can record that finding and set `isSolr10` variable accordingly ```bash $ docker run --pull always --rm solr:latest solr version Client version: 10.1.0 ``` Note that the different CLI versions will print slightly different text for the command: ``` 8.11.4 9.0.0 Solr version is: 9.11.0 Solr version is: 10.0.0 Client version: 10.1.0 Client version: 10.1.0 ``` -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
